3M Attest Super Rapid Readout Biological Indicator 1491 is designed for steam sterilization, providing BI results in just 24 minutes when used with 3M Attest 490/490H Auto-readers (software version 4.2.7 or greater). It offers quick feedback, often before a patient leaves the surgical suite, enhancing instrument turnaround speed. This indicator meets ISO and FDA performance requirements, containing viable organisms that directly measure lethality. It is suitable for 132°C (270°F) and 135°C (275°F) gravity-displacement steam sterilization cycles (Blue Cap). With its rapid readout capability, it ensures efficient and reliable sterilization monitoring.
3M Attest Super Rapid Readout Biological Indicator 1492V is a self-contained indicator designed for rapid and reliable qualification testing and routine monitoring of dynamic-air-removal steam sterilization processes. It is used with the 3M Attest Auto-reader 490 or 490H (software version 4.2.7 or greater). This indicator includes a carrier with Geobacillus stearothermophilus spores and a media ampoule. The vial has a (Brown Cap) with a chemical process indicator. After processing, the indicator is activated and incubated in the Auto-reader. A negative reading indicates a successful sterilization process, with results available in just 24 minutes using compatible Auto-readers.
