    I have skin issues that require bandaging from time to time. But some bandage adhesives irritate my skin. Good combination of strength of adhesive and lack of skin irritation.

    Tried a dozen types and brands. My skin around the area of the wound was starting to react to most standard island bandaids, getting bright red and sore. I had to resort to a plain gauze pad and used the elastic type band to hol it on. Unfortunately, gauze grows into the wound and tears the scab off; tried also the stick free type pads. But this island bandage was the the answer. It does it all painlessly. I used the 6X6 size and it was fantastic. The border is a newer type tech adhesive that stays on really well, but that you can remove painlessly. I think the secret is the paper tape type border that breaths. If it is really close to the wound, this would be the best bandage to use.
