Diatro•Dil-5P diluent offers a buffered, stabilized, and microfiltered electrolyte solution designed for automated dilution of human blood samples. This diluent facilitates the quantitative and qualitative determination of erythrocytes (RBC), leukocytes (WBC), leukocyte subpopulations, thrombocytes (PLT), and measurement of hemoglobin (HGB) concentration.

It is specifically formulated for use with Diatron Abacus 5 and Abacus 380 hematology analyzers.
