Description

The Masimo SpCO Parameter Upgrade (#2296) enhances the functionality of the Radical-7 Pulse Oximeter (#9500), Rad-57 Pulse CO-Oximeter, Rad-87 Pulse Oximeter, or Root Patient Monitor by enabling continuous and noninvasive measurement of carboxyhemoglobin saturation (SpCO).

This upgrade facilitates the detection of carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning, a critical capability in emergency and clinical settings. SpCO monitoring provides real-time insights into CO levels in arterial blood, allowing healthcare providers to promptly diagnose and manage CO exposure cases.
