Description

The Covidien Maxon 3-0 reverse cutting suture is crafted from polyglyconate, a synthetic absorbable material known for its superior properties. This suture features a 30-inch length with a green color for easy identification, and a C-13 needle with a 3/8 circle for precision.

The advanced polyglyconate extrusion process ensures excellent in-vivo strength retention, minimal memory, and reliable knot security. It is ideal for general soft tissue approximation, including pediatric cardiovascular and peripheral vascular procedures.

However, it is not recommended for adult cardiovascular, ophthalmic, microsurgical, or neural tissue applications. This suture offers effective handling and performance in a variety of surgical settings.
