Description

Experience advanced wound closure with the Advanced Skin Closure System. This innovative two-part system offers uncompromised strength and healing, serving as an alternative to subcuticular sutures for medium to long incisions.

Part one includes an applicator and liquid adhesive, featuring 2-octylcyanoacrylate topical skin adhesive that provides strength and microbial protection in vitro. It sets in approximately 60 seconds when applied to the mesh tape.

Part two consists of flexible, self-adhesive polyester mesh tape, which, when combined with the liquid adhesive, ensures excellent wound approximation and healing. The mesh tape contains an initiator that accelerates the polymerization of the liquid adhesive.

With no need for post-surgical dressings, this system facilitates easier self-care. Additionally, the mesh tape removes easily once the wound is sufficiently healed, simplifying the healing process.
