Description
The Influenza A+B Assay is a rapid qualitative in vitro diagnostic test designed to detect Influenza A and B viruses. It utilizes nasal and nasopharyngeal swabs collected from patients exhibiting signs and symptoms of respiratory infection.
The assay involves two significant steps: specimen preparation and the amplification and detection of target sequences specific to Influenza A and Influenza B using isothermal Reverse Transcriptase - Helicase-Dependent Amplification (RT-HDA) in the presence of target-specific fluorescence probes.
The results are conveniently displayed on the instrument's touchscreen and can be saved, printed, and exported through USB ports. The powerful Virena platform also supports the Solana Influenza A+B Assay.
