Description
Provides added protection against surgical site infections with a unique adhesive containing iodophor. Ideal for closure of lacerations, surgical incisions, and wound support following early suture or staple removal. In vitro, testing shows that the iodophor adhesive used in manufacturing these antimicrobial skin closures has broad-spectrum activity against the most common pathogens causing surgical site infections.
It offers a cost-saving alternative to sutures and tissue adhesives. The skin closures provide good adhesion to the skin and have a soft, non-woven backing for patient comfort. The breathable design further enhances patient comfort during use.
