Description

The BD Twinpak Dual Cannula Device is a specialized tool crafted for needleless access, designed to work seamlessly with preslit injection sites and vials created for needleless access. Please note that it is not compatible with conventional injection sites that do not feature a preslit design. The BD Twinpak Dual Cannula Device serves a dual purpose, combining an opaque red hub syringe filling device with a BD Blunt Plastic Cannula. The syringe filling device is perfect for extracting the contents from vials or ampoules, while the Blunt Plastic Cannula ensures safe intravenous fluid delivery or aspiration through preslit injection sites.

It's important to understand that the red hub syringe filling device is not suitable for accessing injection sites or for percutaneous injections. This device is specifically tailored for use with Abbott LifeShield, McGaw SafeLine, and Baxter InterLink Systems, enhancing the precision and safety of medical procedures. Moreover, BD Vial Access Cannula, designed for use with Interlink injection sites, can be easily identified by the colored alert ring surrounding the septum, making them a vital component in healthcare settings.
